Deck overview

This deck is a focused Jeskai Human tribal aggression strategy commanded by Éowyn, Shieldmaiden. The game plan centers on deploying efficient Human creatures and mana rocks in the early game, curving into Éowyn on turn 4 or 5 to generate a recurring army of 2/2 trample, haste Human Knights alongside steady card draw. Once a critical mass of creatures is established, the deck transitions into a lethal threat using powerful combat multipliers such as Shared Animosity, Door of Destinies, Beregond of the Guard, or Taunt from the Rampart to force attacks through unblocked. While the deck possesses strong resilience against chip damage through the monarch mechanic and lifelink via Aragorn, King of Gondor, it relies on combat steps and lacks instant combo finishes, making it vulnerable to well-timed board wipes. Efficient single-target removal in Swords to Plowshares and Path to Exile provides crucial tempo to disrupt opposing engines while racing toward a decisive beatdown victory.
