Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Boros Spellslinger strategy led by Feather, the Redeemed. The primary game plan revolves around deploying Feather on Turn 3 or 4, then casting low-cost targeted cantrips, pump spells, and protection spells. Feather's ability exiles these spells upon resolution and returns them to hand at the beginning of each end step, creating a self-sustaining engine of card advantage, combat buffs, and creature removal. By chaining cards like Defiant Strike, Ancestral Anger, and Titan's Strength, the deck rapidly scales Feather into a lethal aerial commander damage threat. In addition to Voltron eliminations, the deck can go wide and overwhelm the board using token generators like Monastery Mentor and spell duplicators like Zada, Hedron Grinder and Mirrorwing Dragon. A deep suite of recurring 1-mana protection spells shields Feather from opposing removal, while Reckless Rage provides repeatable board control.
