Deck overview

This Selesnya deck is helmed by Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn, transforming lifegain into a growing army of +1/+1 counter-fueled creatures. The primary game plan is to establish early life-gain triggers-through lifelink creatures, enter-the-battlefield effects, and Food tokens-then convert that life into counters at each end step via Lathiel's ability. The deck wins through combat, either by overwhelming opponents with a wide board of trampling, lifelink creatures or by using Ghalta and Mavren to create an enormous token. Secondary value comes from recursion engines like Conduit of Worlds and Evolution Witness, and protection from Sigarda, Font of Blessings. The deck lacks tutors and fast mana, relying on incremental advantage and resilience to outlast opponents in longer games.
