Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Jund aristocrats and combo engine commanded by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch. The strategy centers on weaponizing -1/-1 counters to achieve total creature board control, explosive card draw, and decisive infinite drain combos. Early turns accelerate mana through low-cost mana dorks and land ramp, deploying Auntie Ool on Turn 3. On Turn 4, the deck introduces key synergy pieces such as Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, Nest of Scarabs, or Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, turning every placed counter into fresh creature tokens and hand refills. Opponents face oppressive attrition as Kulrath Knight immobilizes their creatures and Maha, Its Feathers Night shrinks opposing toughness. The deck closes games around Turn 5 using Blowfly Infestation with Nest of Scarabs or Hapatra, generating an infinite loop of creature deaths and counter placements that drains all opponents to zero via Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, or Obelisk Spider.
