Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari Aristocrats and lifegain midrange strategy helmed by Lluwen, Exchange Student // Pest Friend. It creates a steady stream of 1/1 Pest tokens to fuel sacrifice outlets, trigger lifegain synergies, and drain opposing life totals. The deck develops early mana through two-mana ramp pieces and establishes its engine by Turn 4. Critical onset occurs around Turn 6 as multiple death-trigger drainers like Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Dina, Soul Steeper compound with mass sacrifice spells like Plumb the Forbidden or combat finishers like Overrun and Blossoming Bogbeast. Interaction is strong in the permanent removal department with Assassin's Trophy, Beast Within, and Toxic Deluge. However, the deck lacks countermagic and protective spells, relying instead on graveyard recursion to recover from board wipes.
