Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Boros Voltron strategy commanded by Kassandra, Eagle Bearer. The deck focuses on assembling high-power legendary weapons, cheating equip costs, and converting combat damage into steady card advantage. Kassandra guarantees consistent early development by tutoring The Spear of Leonidas directly onto the battlefield on Turn 3. Equipping the spear on Turn 4 grants double strike and draws up to two cards per combat step upon connecting. The deck swiftly transitions into lethal pressure on Turn 5 by tutoring or casting massive weapons such as Excalibur, Sword of Eden, Blackblade Reforged, or Hammer of Nazahn. Evasion from Brotherhood Regalia and Bilbo's Ring ensures combat connections, allowing the deck to eliminate opponents sequentially across consecutive turns. Defensive layers like Mithril Coat, Caduceus, Staff of Hermes, and Boros Charm protect the voltron threat against common removal, while support engines like Puresteel Paladin and Forge Anew sustain tempo.
