Commander: Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Simic landfall deck built to cast Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait on curve, then convert every extra land drop into cards and tokens. The primary plan is ramp into Aesi, deploy landfall payoffs (Avenger of Zendikar, Rampaging Baloths, Scute Swarm, Greensleeves), and kill with a critical mass of creatures, often boosted by Overwhelming Stampede. Secondary paths are mass land recursion (Splendid Reclamation, Aftermath Analyst) and an infinite landfall combo using Retreat to Coralhelm, a land-putter, and Ghost Town. Kodama of the East Tree acts as a hidden commander, chaining permanents off landfall tokens. Aesi is the engine; without it the deck still functions but loses velocity.
