Deck overview

This deck is an artifact swarm and synergy build helmed by Sai, Master Thopterist. The strategy centers on deploying low-cost artifacts and cost-reducing permanents like Etherium Sculptor and Foundry Inspector to trigger Sai's ability repeatedly, flooding the battlefield with evasive 1/1 flying Thopter tokens. Sai doubles as a card advantage engine by converting surplus tokens into fresh cards. Once a substantial board of Thopters is established, the deck transitions into lethal combat by resolving overwhelming anthems and heavy artifact finishers such as Graaz, Unstoppable Juggernaut, Krang, Utrom Warlord, Master of Etherium, or an improvise-boosted Kappa Cannoneer. A suite of counterspells, hexproof protection from Padeem, Consul of Innovation, and defensive taxing from Propaganda shield the board during setup. While vulnerable to artifact sweepers, the deck maintains high resilience through redundant token generators and backup beatdown paths.
