Deck overview

This is a fast Esper control-combo deck helmed by Y'shtola, Night's Blessed. The primary game plan is to assemble the Thassa's Oracle + Demonic Consultation/Tainted Pact two-card win, using a dense fast-mana package (Sol Ring, Mana Vault, Chrome Mox, Mox Diamond, Dark Ritual) and a deep tutor suite to find the pieces quickly. The commander functions as a draw engine - she draws a card whenever a player loses 4+ life in a turn - and as a backup burn win, pinging each opponent for 2 whenever you cast a noncreature spell with mana value 3 or greater. Secondary lines include Notion Thief + Windfall/Timetwister to draw the deck, and Orcish Bowmasters/Sheoldred, the Apocalypse punishing opponent draws. A 13-counterspell, 11-free-spell interaction suite keeps the table in check while the combo assembles.
