Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Naya token engine commanded by Baylen, the Haymaker. The strategy revolves around generating a wide variety of creature and non-creature tokens—including Soldiers, Gnomes, Saprolings, Food, and Treasures—and turning them directly into mana, card draw, and combat buffs through Baylen's tap abilities. Because Baylen taps tokens rather than itself, newly created tokens immediately generate value without needing haste. The deck accelerates through its early turns with dense 1-to-2-mana ramp, deploys continuous token engines like Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon and Illustrious Wanderglyph, and doubles token output using enchantments like Anointed Procession and Doubling Season. Once a critical mass of tokens is reached, the deck converts wide boards into direct damage via group-slug burn pieces like Purphoros, God of the Forge, Impact Tremors, and Warleader's Call, or closes the table through massive overrun attacks with Craterhoof Behemoth and Baylen's trample-granting pumps.
