Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic mono-blue artifact deck commanded by Sai, Master Thopterist. Its strategy revolves around casting low-cost artifacts to flood the battlefield with 1/1 flying Thopter tokens while converting spare artifacts into fresh cards using Sai's sacrifice ability and engines like Skullclamp and Shimmer Dragon. Fast mana and cost reducers like Etherium Sculptor accelerate board development, allowing the deck to quickly achieve high artifact counts for affinity spells like Thought Monitor and Kappa Cannoneer. The deck closes games primarily through combat, turning small Thopters into lethal threats using global modifiers such as Graaz, Unstoppable Juggernaut, Forsaken Monument, and Master of Etherium, or via the alternate win condition on Mechanized Production. While the deck possesses explosive draw capability and strong defensive flight lines, its reliance on permanent board presence makes it susceptible to mass artifact and creature sweepers.
