Deck overview

This Golgari Superfriends deck uses Carth the Lion to accelerate the loyalty abilities of a large suite of Garruk and Liliana planeswalkers. By adding an extra loyalty counter to all loyalty activations, Carth allows planeswalkers to reach powerful ultimate abilities in half the normal time. The deck uses early green ramp to deploy Carth on turn 3 or 4, quickly digging for high-impact walkers. The midgame focuses on asymmetric board control through edicts, creature removal, and Beast and Zombie token generation. Once loyalty reaches critical thresholds around turn 6, planeswalkers like Liliana, Dreadhorde General and Garruk, Cursed Huntsman lock down the board or pump the token army for a decisive combat finish on turn 8. Strong graveyard recursion ensures resilience against board wipes, though the list lacks instant-speed stack interaction.
