Commander: Aurelia, the Warleader

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Boros list is an aggressive extra-combat deck. Its primary plan is to resolve Aurelia, the Warleader, then either equip her with Mjolnir/Hard-Won Jitte and finish with Akroma's Will, or build a wide Soldier board with Myrel, Shield of Argive so Aurelia's two combats snowball into lethal. Desert Were-Worm adds a third combat once the attacking team reaches 12 power. The deck includes a red burn backup using Ojer Axonil and Ashling. It is not built around a hidden commander; the sole MDFC, Ojer Axonil, contributes as a burn amplifier and a mana land on its back face. Ramp is modest but enough for a turn five Aurelia, with Land Tax and Cloud/Recruiter smoothing draws.
