Deck overview

This Boros deck combines Equipment synergies with Dwarf tribal elements, using Giott, King of the Dwarves as a fast, double-striking Voltron commander. Giott converts every entering Dwarf and Equipment into card filtering, smoothing land drops and digging for key augmentations. The deck establishes early mana using artifacts like Sol Ring and Talisman of Conviction before casting Giott on Turn 2. By Turn 4, the deck attaches high-impact Equipment such as Tenza, Godo's Maul, Blackblade Reforged, or Bloodforged Battle-Axe, often discounted by Puresteel Paladin, Danitha Capashen, Paragon, or Forge Anew. Combat onset begins on Turn 5, threatening 12 to 20+ commander damage in a single swing. Because the deck eliminates opponents one by one across sequential combat phases, it requires three response cycles to close out the game on Turn 8. Robust shielding from Boros Charm, Hammer of Nazahn, and Swiftfoot Boots protects the primary threat, while alternate carriers like Wyleth, Soul of Steel provide backup.
