Deck overview

This deck is an Esper midrange strategy commanded by Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign, engineered to cheat expensive, game-altering odd-mana-value spells directly into play. The early game focuses on setting up mana rocks and deploying topdeck manipulation tools such as Sensei's Divining Top, Brainstorm, and Lim-Dûl's Vault. Once Yennett enters the battlefield on Turn 4 or 5, attacking triggers her ability to cast massive odd-cost bombs—including Void Winnower, Breach the Multiverse, In Garruk's Wake, and Toxrill, the Corrosive—without paying their mana costs. The deck reinforces this engine with an extensive Esper removal package (Swords to Plowshares, Void Rend) and defensive stax effects (Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, Fatespinner) that buy time against fast aggro. Victory is achieved through the overwhelming card advantage, board suppression, and massive combat swings generated by these cheated behemoths over two to three attack cycles.
