Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking leads a Sultai Elf +1/+1 counter deck that wins by going wide, then tall. Build an Elf battlefield and play legendary Elves to feed Thranduil's triggered draw; discard or mill Elves so Thranduil gains their activated abilities as a graveyard toolbox, including Selvala mana, Lathril drain, and Jarad sacrifice. Secondary finishes are massive counter swings with Branching Evolution and The Earth Crystal, plus a Selvala + Staff of Domination infinite-mana line. There is no double-faced commander here; the deck is built around the single-faced Thranduil, with Selvala acting as the hidden engine.
