Format: Commander

Commander: Tidus, Yuna's Guardian

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Tidus, Yuna's Guardian is the engine of a +1/+1 counter deck that moves counters onto a single attacker, then uses the Cheer trigger to draw and proliferate every combat. The primary path is commander damage: grow Tidus with counter sources like Luminarch Aspirant and Hardened Scales, then finish with Chocobo Knights double strike and Sphere Grid trample. Secondary paths are a tutorless combo of Walking Ballista with Gatta and Luzzu plus Hardened Scales, and a go-wide counter beatdown with Danny Pink and Bred for the Hunt. Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus acts as a hidden commander, doubling every proliferate. Yuna, Grand Summoner provides mana, extra counters, and recursion.
