Deck overview

This Gruul combo deck leverages Aerid Konstrari alongside Food Chain and cast-from-exile creatures to execute fast, decisive table finishes. The core engine combines Food Chain with Squee, the Immortal or Eternal Scourge to generate infinite creature mana. By repeatedly casting Aerid Konstrari from the command zone, the deck creates infinite Heartwood artifact tokens, which tap for infinite colored mana. This mana fuels instant lethality through direct damage triggers from Reckless Fireweaver and Weftstalker Ardent, planeswalker damage from Jeska, Thrice Reborn, or an overwhelming combat step with Finale of Devastation. Dense low-cost ramp and rituals enable reliable Turn 4 execution, while tutors like Pia, Aether Ascetic and Imperial Recruiter assemble key pieces. Red stack interaction, including Pyroblast, Red Elemental Blast, and Veil of Summer, shields the combo from countermagic, and a backup Dualcaster Mage plus Twinflame package ensures resilience if the primary line is contested.
