discard dem lands son by nikkedog

Format: Commander

Commander: Borborygmos Enraged

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Borborygmos Enraged is both the draw engine and the finisher: the deck ramps to eight mana, puts lands in the graveyard and hand, then discards them for 3 damage each, amplified by damage-doubling/tripling enchantments. Secondary plans use the same landfall shell to generate token armies with Field of the Dead, Omnath, Locus of Rage, and Rampaging Baloths, or burn with Seismic Assault and Life from the Loam. The commander's role is to turn every land card into reach and to refill from its combat trigger. There is no true hidden commander, though Omnath functions as a backup payoff when Borborygmos is taxed out.
