Deck overview

This is a midrange discard/ammass deck built around Sauron, the Dark Lord. The primary plan is to establish an Army token via the commander's amass trigger or dedicated amass spells, suit it up with evasion and protection equipment (Whispersilk Cloak, Brotherhood Regalia, Rogue's Passage), then attack to trigger the Ring temptation. Once tempted, Sauron can discard your hand to draw four fresh cards, generating massive card advantage and fueling discard payoffs like Monument to Endurance and Cool but Rude. The deck wins through incremental commander damage or army combat damage, often supplemented by All Will Be One which turns every amass trigger into direct burn. There are no infinite combos; resilience comes from equipment that persists through wipes and the ability to quickly rebuild with card draw. The nine Nazgul provide a redundant source of ring triggers and wraith pumping.
