A pile of treasures by user1148606

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug, Wicked Worm

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Rakdos deck is a Treasure engine with a combo kill. Smaug, Wicked Worm is the card-advantage commander: once Treasures are being produced, every spell paid for with Treasure mana draws a card, so the deck can sift for its finishers. The primary plan assembles Goldspan Dragon, The Reaver Cleaver, and Aggravated Assault for infinite combat phases and Treasures. Secondary paths use Treasure-drain payoffs (Mayhem Devil, Mirkwood Bats, Reckless Fireweaver, Alchemist's Talent) and artifact alt-wins (Revel in Riches, Hellkite Tyrant). Magda, Brazen Outlaw functions as a hidden commander/tutor, grabbing artifacts and Dragons. The deck can also win with Crackle with Power or dragon beats.
