Deck overview

This deck is a Boros Equipment Aggro build helmed by Nahiri, Forged in Fury. The strategy revolves around deploying inexpensive Equipment and low-cost creatures in the early turns to discount Nahiri through Affinity for Equipment. Once Nahiri hits the battlefield, attacking with equipped creatures triggers her ability to exile cards from the library and cast Equipment spells for free. This free casting mechanic enables rapid board state expansion, stacking swords and massive stat boosts onto individual threats like Champion of the Flame or Nahiri herself. The deck converts this momentum into lethal combat damage, applying heavy pressure to opponents one by one. While the deck boasts strong combat scaling and independent backup beaters, it relies primarily on combat damage across multiple turn cycles, leaving it exposed to artifact sweepers, creature board wipes, and targeted removal.
