Deck overview

This mono-black control deck uses Tinybones, Trinket Thief to execute a classic 8-rack group attrition strategy in Commander. The primary objective is to systematically empty all opponents' hands using dense symmetrical and asymmetric discard spells while Tinybones, Trinket Thief, Waste Not, and Geth's Grimoire break parity by drawing cards and generating mana. Once opponents are hellbent, the deck locks down opposing offense with Ensnaring Bridge and board sweepers like Toxic Deluge. It then translates hand denial into lethal life loss through passive rack effects like Shrieking Affliction, Liliana's Caress, and Bandit's Talent, alongside big-mana finishers including Torment of Hailfire, Gray Merchant of Asphodel, and Tinybones' activated ability. The deck plays efficiently on curve and recovers easily thanks to cheap commander recast costs and extensive creature recursion.
