Deck overview

This Temur deck uses Iroh, Grand Lotus to execute a spellslinger storm strategy fueled by Lesson synergy. The game plan focuses on spending the early turns casting cheap cantrips, Lessons, and ramp spells to develop mana and fill the graveyard. Once Iroh enters the battlefield on Turn 5, all Lesson cards in the graveyard gain flashback for {1}, while standard instants and sorceries gain flashback for their mana costs. On Turn 6, the deck attacks with Iroh to gain {R}{R} from Firebending 2 and begins chaining flashbacked spells through pingers like Guttersnipe, Fiery Inscription, and Coruscation Mage. Mana engines such as Storm-Kiln Artist and untap spells keep mana flowing, converting graveyard recursion into a lethal storm turn that finishes all three opponents at once. While the deck possesses explosive burst potential and vast card flow, it relies heavily on graveyard access and commander survival, carrying minimal countermagic protection.
