Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger strategy piloted by Vivi Ornitier, focusing on rapid noncreature spell velocity and table-wide burn. Vivi Ornitier acts as both an explosive mana engine and a scaling win condition, generating blue and red mana equal to its power while pinging each opponent whenever a noncreature spell is cast. The primary game plan equips Vivi with Curiosity or Ophidian Eye on Turn 4, drawing three cards for every spell cast to fuel an uninterrupted chain of cantrips and rituals. Damage amplifiers like Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph, Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might // Temple of Power, and Harmonic Prodigy accelerate life totals to zero. In backup lines, Niv-Mizzet, Parun forms a two-card infinite combo with Curiosity to clear the table. A tight package of low-cost interaction and reactive protection shields the commander during critical setup turns.
