Ur Dragon by AKL2447

Format: Commander

Commander: The Ur-Dragon

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a battle-cruiser five-color Dragon tribal deck built around The Ur-Dragon's eminence discount and its attack-trigger draw-and-cheat engine. The plan is to ramp into a critical mass of evasive, high-power Dragons, cheat them into play with Sneak Attack and Smuggler's Surprise, and bury the table in value from Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Terror of the Peaks, Scourge of Valkas, Dragon Tempest, and Tiamat's five-card tutor. There are no true infinite combos; wins come from flying combat damage, with Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient, Old Gnawbone, and Ancient Copper Dragon generating enough mana to chain multiple spells and attacks. Interaction is light, so the deck wins by racing with fat Dragons rather than policing the stack.
