DeckCheck Threat Index: 40

Deck overview

This deck is a proactive Selesnya aggro strategy centered on Human tribal synergies, Coven mechanics, and scaling +1/+1 counters. Led by Sigarda, Champion of Light, the deck curves out with low-cost utility Humans that generate mana, place counters, and manage power thresholds to trigger Coven consistently. By Turn 4, the commander enters play, providing a static anthem and card selection on attack. The deck transitions into a lethal threat on Turn 5 through compounding power engines like Kyler, Sigardian Emissary, Cathars' Crusade, and Adeline, Resplendent Cathar. It overcomes ground defenses by granting evasion via Abzan Falconer, Champion of Lambholt, and Odric, Master Tactician, typically concluding the game on Turn 6. While vulnerable to heavy creature removal and exile sweepers, an extensive protection suite and recursion through Angel of Glory's Rise give the deck strong resilience.
