Deck overview

This deck is a proactive Gruul midrange stompy list designed to generate exponential artifact and creature value using its commander, Aerid Konstrari. The early turns focus on ramping into Aerid on Turn 4, immediately generating Heartwood tokens that fix and accelerate mana. By Turn 5, the deck layers clone engines like Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink, Rionya, Fire Dancer, or Molten Duplication to repeatedly trigger Aerid's enter and die abilities, producing vast quantities of mana tokens and drawing cards through Elemental Bond and Garruk's Uprising. On Turn 6, the deck converts this artifact density into lethal combat power with Craterclaw Colossus, Tyvar, the Pummeler, or mass copies, closing the game across Turns 6 and 7. The deck excels at mana velocity and board development, but trades away interaction and stax pieces to maximize its internal synergy engine.
