Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red tribal stompy strategy commanded by Lathliss, Dragon Queen. The primary game plan accelerates into high-cost, high-impact Dragon threats using cost reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman and mana rocks like Dragon's Hoard. Once Lathliss enters on Turn 5, every subsequent nontoken Dragon spell doubles the board's offensive footprint by creating a 5/5 flying Dragon token. Synergy pieces like Dragon Tempest and Scourge of Valkas convert creature deployments into massive direct damage bursts, clearing opposing blockers or burning players directly. The deck closes games on Turns 7 and 8 through overwhelming aerial combat, bolstered by anthem pumps and double strike from Terror of Mount Velus. While the deck generates massive board presence and features strong creature-based board wipes, it remains vulnerable to mass sweepers and non-creature combo strategies due to limited stack interaction and minimal plan shielding.
