Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov midrange strategy commanded by Vona, Butcher of Magan that blends lifegain, token generation, and board attrition with a compact infinite combo finish. Early turns focus on mana fixing and playing defensive utility creatures such as Suture Priest and Brimaz, King of Oreskos. In the mid-game, the deck uses tutors like Plea for Guidance or Diabolic Tutor to assemble the primary win condition: Exquisite Blood combined with Sanguine Bond or Vizkopa Guildmage. Once both pieces resolve, any life gain or opposing life loss triggers an infinite feedback loop that drains all three opponents to zero. If the combo is disrupted or exiled, the deck seamlessly transitions into a go-wide token beatdown strategy powered by Cathars' Crusade, Anointed Procession, and Elspeth, Sun's Champion, while Vona, Butcher of Magan and Dictate of Erebos keep opposing boards clear.
