Deck overview

This is a Bant +1/+1 counters deck helmed by Tidus, Yuna's Guardian, built around accumulating counters on creatures and leveraging proliferate to snowball. Tidus's Cheer ability draws a card and proliferates whenever creatures with counters connect, while his combat-step counter-moving lets the deck concentrate a whole board's worth of counters onto a single threat - usually Walking Ballista or one evasive, trampling attacker. The deck is a fair midrange value pile: it ramps with scaling mana dorks (Gyre Sage, Incubation Druid), deploys counter engines (Hardened Scales, Forgotten Ancient, Maester Seymour, Tromell, Seymour's Butler), and wins through combat with double-strike/first-strike/trample support or by dumping a massive counter pile into Walking Ballista. It has no fast combo and a very thin tutor suite, so it wins by grinding out inevitability rather than assembling a quick line.
