The Burn Rate by PrimeRibs723

Deck overview

This is a Jund treasure-burn deck helmed by Ziatora, the Incinerator. Every end step is a transaction: sacrifice a creature, deal its power as damage, and mint three Treasures. The pilot's preferred read is to point that damage at Smaug the Impenetrable, who is indestructible and prints a Treasure per point of noncombat damage, turning fodder like Ghalta, Primal Hunger into enormous coin piles. Xorn and Academy Manufactor multiply every mint; Reckless Fireweaver, Ingenious Artillerist, Mayhem Devil, Disciple of the Vault, Marionette Apprentice, Mirkwood Bats, and The Sackville-Bagginses convert both creation and sacrifice into table-wide drain. Alternate finishes are Revel in Riches (ten Treasures), Hellkite Tyrant (twenty artifacts), Knuckles the Echidna (thirty), big Torment of Hailfire dumps, and combat backed by Old Gnawbone. Treasures are munitions, not ramp-the spend rate is the kill rate.
