Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug, Wicked Worm

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Smaug, Wicked Worm is a Rakdos Treasure/drain value deck. Its primary plan is to generate large numbers of Treasure tokens from attack triggers, draw spells, and enchantments, then convert them into card draw with Smaug's cast trigger and into damage with pinging permanents or a massive Torment of Hailfire. Secondary paths use artifact-count alternate victories (Hellkite Tyrant, Knuckles the Echidna, Revel in Riches). The commander is primarily a card-advantage engine and occasional burst token producer; no DFC commander exists, and no hidden commander is required, though Smaug the Magnificent in the 99 acts as a complementary haste threat.
