Deck overview

This Orzhov deck uses Liesa, Shroud of Dusk to tax every spell and grind opponents with lifegain triggers. You set up Soul Warden, Suture Priest, Kambal and Blind Obedience to gain life when creatures enter and drain opponents when they cast spells, then grow the advantage with Vilis, Crypt Ghast and Smothering Tithe. Liesa acts as a drain engine and lifelink source, not a combo piece. The hidden engine is Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose paired with Bloodthirsty Conqueror or Enduring Tenacity, which turns any lifegain into an infinite drain loop, with Aetherflux Reservoir plus Tainted Sigil and Debt to the Deathless as backup finishers.
