Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Izzet spellslinger strategy built around Muddle, the Ever-Changing. Muddle transforms into a copy of any nonlegendary creature you control whenever you cast an instant or sorcery, gaining the myriad ability. By targeting high-impact creatures like Guttersnipe, Archmage Emeritus, Storm-Kiln Artist, or Haughty Djinn, Muddle creates temporary attacking token copies for each opponent during combat. This triples your Magecraft triggers, damage output, and mana generation. The deck uses low-cost cantrips to cycle rapidly, generate Treasure tokens, and trigger copy abilities before finishing the table with multi-target burn or overwhelming creature swarms. Backup clone engines like Rionya, Fire Dancer and Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer ensure consistent pressure even without the commander. While the list excels at rapid card draw and explosive damage turns, it lacks defensive countermagic, leaving its board development vulnerable to well-timed opposing removal.
