Squalo by user4458475

Format: Commander

Commander: Squall, SeeD Mercenary

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Built around Squall, SeeD Mercenary, this is an equipment-voltron deck that turns the commander's lone-attack double strike into a two-turn commander-damage clock. Graveyard recursion is the second pillar: Squall recurs cheap permanents on contact, while Reanimate, Animate Dead, and Buried Alive set up value or backup threats. The 99 includes Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist as an enabler, but there is no hidden commander; the deck is not built around a double-faced commander. Equipment tutors and draw engines like Sram and Puresteel Paladin fuel fast assembly, while removal and edicts clear blockers and protection equipment keeps Squall alive.
