Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos spellslinger burn strategy commanded by Tor Wauki the Younger. The deck leverages cheap one-mana cantrips such as Crash Through, Expedite, and Aphotic Wisps to trigger a dense suite of pinger creatures including Guttersnipe, Electrostatic Field, and Kessig Flamebreather. Tor Wauki the Younger acts as a damage amplifier, boosting noncombat damage by 1 while dealing 2 damage to any target on every instant and sorcery cast, which keeps opposing creatures in check and drains opponents with lifelink. Mana generation engines like Storm-Kiln Artist, Runaway Steam-Kin, and Mana Geyser turn low-cost cantrips into mana-positive or mana-neutral chains, enabling explosive storm turns. Finishes are achieved through storm burn flurries, graveyard recursion via Return the Past, or sudden poison kills with Phyresis and Tainted Strike. The deck plays efficiently on curve, though it remains vulnerable to sweepers and instant-speed creature removal.
