Myrel, Shield of Argive by PassTurnImTired

Format: Commander

Commander: Myrel, Shield of Argive

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

An aggressive mono-white Soldier token deck built around Myrel, Shield of Argive. Myrel serves as a growing token engine and a one-sided tax effect that locks opponents out of most spells during your combat push. The primary plan is to curve into Myrel, attack every turn to multiply the Soldier count, and finish with Akroma's Will, Moonshaker Cavalry, or True Conviction. Secondary paths lean on token doublers like Anointed Procession, Mondrak, Elspeth, and Ojer Taq, plus anthem effects and card draw from Skullclamp, The One Ring, and Esper Sentinel. There is no hidden commander; Ojer Taq is a token tripler and land, not a commander. The deck is weak to mass sweepers and commander removal, but carries many protection instants to shield the winning attack.
