Deck overview

This Sultai deck is built around Thranduil, the Elvenking as a graveyard-ability engine and an elfball shell. The commander's activated-ability clause means that binning any one of the big elf mana dorks-Elvish Archdruid, Priest of Titania, or Wirewood Channeler-turns Thranduil himself into a tap-for-X-mana creature. Combined with Staff of Domination, that becomes infinite mana, infinite draws, and a one-turn kill via Torment of Hailfire or Finale of Devastation. The deck also executes a clean combat plan: Lathril, Blade of the Elves, Elvish Warmaster, and Elven Ambush flood the board, then Craterhoof Behemoth or Ezuri, Renegade Leader closes. Hermit Druid, Buried Alive, Entomb, Fauna Shaman, and Necrotic Ooze make the graveyard plan redundant and resilient.
