Big And Ugly by Buran216

Commander: The Great Goblin

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos Goblin/Orc/Army midrange deck helmed by The Great Goblin. The plan is to flood the board with Goblin tokens and Amass Armies, then convert every +1/+1 counter placement into direct damage via the commander while death triggers exile cards for free value. Mauhur, Uruk-hai Captain and repeatable Amass engines like March from the Black Gate and Bothersome Noisemaker turn modest counter events into outsized pings and a growing Army threat. Primary wins come from go-wide combat-often capped by Assault on Osgiliath double strike or Unleash Fury-backed by commander chip damage. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins through attrition, token swarm, and incremental life total pressure. Secondary value comes from sacrifice outlets (Gorbag of Minas Morgul, The Sackville-Bagginses) and recursion (Oversold Cemetery). The commander is the central damage and card-advantage engine but the tribal combat plan still functions without it.
