Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue combat-control build led by Sun Quan, Lord of Wu. The strategy establishes early mana acceleration and low-cost saboteur creatures, then leverages Sun Quan's horsemanship ability to make the entire board effectively unblockable. Unblockable attackers trigger curiosity engines like Coastal Piracy, Bident of Thassa, and Enduring Curiosity, drawing massive numbers of cards each combat step. The surplus cards fuel powerful high-end threats like Ancient Silver Dragon, Blightsteel Colossus, and Spawning Kraken to close out games across two to three combat turns. While the deck boasts immense card draw and strong resilience against single-target disruption, it relies heavily on creature combat and remains vulnerable to board sweepers when shields are down.
