Hobbits in disguise by user1016928

Format: Commander

Commander: The Notary Hobbits

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Notary Hobbits is a mono-green mana-engine commander that creates two nonlegendary copies of itself on entry, then taps to add {C} for each Halfling you control. The deck ramps aggressively with dorks and land-tutors, converts every creature into a Halfling with Maskwood Nexus, and uses the resulting huge mana to deploy finishers such as Blightsteel Colossus plus Cybermen Squadron for myriad infect, or Finale of Devastation fetching Craterhoof Behemoth with haste and a huge pump. Secondary lines use Conjurer's Closet to multiply Halfling copies, Seedborn Muse for off-turn mana, and Last March of the Ents to dump threats. Silver Surfer acts as a hidden Galactus tutor. The commander accelerates the game but is not the only path to big mana.
