Commander: Zirda, the Dawnwaker

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

Zirda, the Dawnwaker commands a fast Boros combo deck focused on generating infinite mana through activated ability cost reduction. The primary win condition combines Zirda with Basalt Monolith to produce infinite colorless mana, which converts immediately into lethal damage through outlets like Walking Ballista, Goblin Cannon, Valakut Invoker, or Bhaal's Invoker. Secondary paths utilize Rings of Brighthearth with Basalt Monolith, Metalworker artifact engines, or Underworld Breach loops with Lion's Eye Diamond and Wheel of Fortune. Dense artifact tutors and Silence protection effects ensure rapid assembly and safe execution, while utility creatures and value engines sustain the board if an early attempt gets contested.
