Deck overview

This deck is a high-power, five-color Dragon tribal deck piloted by The Ur-Dragon. The game plan revolves around leveraging the commander's passive Eminence ability to reduce the cost of all Dragon spells from turn zero. In the early turns, the deck deploys high-quality ramp and color fixing to accelerate into explosive mid-game turns. By Turn 4, enablers like Hellkite Courser, Dragon Tempest, or Temur Ascendancy allow massive flying threats such as Atarka, World Render, Old Gnawbone, and Terror of the Peaks to attack immediately. The deck maintains exceptional card flow through The Ur-Dragon's attack triggers, Sylvan Library, and Rhystic Study. It closes out games rapidly through overwhelming aerial combat damage or an infinite combat loop using Hellkite Charger and Old Gnawbone, backed by resilient defensive options like Teferi's Protection and Heroic Intervention.
