Deck overview

Garnet, Princess of Alexandria commands a synergistic Selesnya Enchantress deck that weaponizes Sagas through lore counter manipulation. By attacking each turn, Garnet removes lore counters from active Sagas, repeatedly triggering powerful early chapters like spot exile from Trial of a Time Lord or massive stat boosts from Michiko's Reign of Truth while steadily growing with +1/+1 counters. A dense package of 1- and 2-mana ramp accelerates deployment, allowing draw engines such as Sythis, Harvest's Hand and Satyr Enchanter to flood the hand with cheap Auras and Sagas. The primary win condition centers on scaling Garnet into a lethal Voltron threat, using cards like Ethereal Armor, Audacity, and Shield of the Oversoul to deliver unblockable or trampling commander damage starting on turn 5. Resilient 1-mana protection spells like Loran's Escape and Restoration Magic keep the commander safe from removal, while recursion from Yuna, Hope of Spira and Resurgent Belief ensures rapid recovery.
