Commander: Breeches, the Blastmaker

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a spellslinger-artifact hybrid deck helmed by Breeches, the Blastmaker, aiming to cast two spells each turn to trigger the commander's coin-flip copy/damage ability while generating a steady stream of Treasure tokens. The deck leans heavily on cost reducers (Goblin Electromancer, Stormcatch Mentor, Etherium Sculptor) and second-spell payoffs (Jori En, Ruin Diver, Kraum, Violent Cacophony, Malcolm, the Eyes, Storm of Saruman) to draw cards and create creature tokens. The coin-flip subtheme is enabled by Krark's Thumb and Edgar, King of Figaro (who guarantees heads on the first flip each turn), turning Breeches into a reliable copy engine. The primary win condition is overwhelming combat damage from a wide board of artifact creatures (Cyberdrive Awakener turns all noncreature artifacts into 4/4 flyers) or from a massive Call Forth the Tempest or Culmination of Studies after a long chain of spells. The deck is a value-oriented grinder with no compact infinite combo, relying on incremental advantage and a critical mass of spells and tokens to close out games.
