Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov token aristocrat strategy led by Kambal, Profiteering Mayor. The primary game plan revolves around generating wide boards of creature and artifact tokens while forcing opponents to create tokens through cards like Tribute to Horobi, Generous Gift, and The War Games. When opponents create tokens, Kambal copies them; whenever you create tokens, Kambal drains each opponent for 1 life. The deck compounds this drain through redundant aristocrat payoffs, including Mirkwood Bats, Corpse Knight, Cruel Celebrant, and Bastion of Remembrance, turning both token creation and token sacrifice into unavoidable table-wide damage. Card draw engines like Skullclamp and Caretaker's Talent keep resources flowing, while sac outlets like Bartolomé del Presidio enable burst finishes. While vulnerable to mass exile sweepers and lacking fast mana, the deck presents a resilient, interactive clock that reliably grinds down all three opponents by turn 8.
