Deck overview

This Boros burn deck helmed by Gisela, Blade of Goldnight aims to eliminate the entire table through relentless group slug damage, spellcast pingers, and damage doubling effects. In the early game, the deck establishes low-cost damage triggers like Firebrand Archer, Coruscation Mage, and Impact Tremors, while smoothing draws through efficient red rummaging spells. Mid-game turns focus on deploying damage amplifiers such as Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, Fiery Inscription, or casting Gisela, Blade of Goldnight to turn minor pings into lethal bursts. Board control tools like Blasphemous Act, Chain Reaction, and Pyrohemia clear opposing creature boards while triggering death or damage payoffs. Defensive enchantments like Ghostly Prison and Lightmine Field protect your life total from aggro retaliations as global burn spells like Price of Progress and Flame Rift close out the match across turns 6 to 8.
