Commander: The Great Goblin

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos Goblin swarm deck built around The Great Goblin's counter-trigger burn. The primary plan is to flood the board with token Goblins, use Metallic Mimic, amass, or blight effects to put counters on them, and convert each counter into 2 damage to any opponent. Combat and death-trigger aristocrat effects (Pashalik Mons, Boggart Shenanigans, Goblin Bombardment) form the secondary path. Krenko, Mob Boss is the team's true multiplier, serving as a hidden commander that generates explosive boards. The Great Goblin also provides card advantage by exiling cards when Goblins die, letting the deck chain plays from the top of the library. Winning is usually achieved through combined combat and direct damage over turns 7-8.
