Deck overview

This deck is an optimized Temur Dragon tribal strategy commanded by Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm. It combines explosive fast mana, elite free interaction, and devastating Dragon payoffs to overwhelm the table with duplicated threats and immediate combo finishes. The primary game plan accelerates through 0-to-2 CMC ramp on the opening turns to deploy Miirym by Turn 4. Once the commander is established, any subsequent Dragon cast triggers Miirym's copying ability, generating exponential board presence, card draw, and burn damage. The deck features a compact two-card infinite win condition with Astral Dragon and Cursed Mirror, which creates an arbitrarily large army of flying Dragon tokens with haste to close out the game on Turn 5. Backed by a premier suite of free countermagic (Fierce Guardianship, Deflecting Swat, Force of Will) and uncounterable casting enablers (Cavern of Souls, Delighted Halfling), the deck defends its explosive turns with remarkable consistency while retaining powerful backup beatdown routes.
